Allow me a moment to step out from behind our social media account and offer a few personal words about today’s performance.

I was asked to describe what it felt like to perform a concert like this, and I answered that it felt surreal and I was truly grateful. In a world of technology where digital giants reign supreme, where artificial intelligence threatens the very core of authentic human expression, interaction and passion, there is something so personal and raw about sharing a performance like this with a warm, receptive and appreciative audience. It fills our hearts to present our talents and share our appreciation for those who have served - and continue to serve - our great country, those who give of themselves selflessly every day to protect everything that we hold most dear.

One of the most hauntingly beautiful things about music is its ability to express emotion in ways that words alone often fail to do. I spent most of my life studying music and one of the fundamental principles I was taught was how to give life to the music, how to make simple notes on paper “felt” by the listener. Whether our repertoire was performed by our musicians or enjoyed by our audience today, we hope everyone was inspired to embrace their own pride and gratitude for our country and for all of our courageous heroes who sacrifice so much for our freedom. It’s that spark of patriotism we hoped to make our audience feel today.

❤️ With grateful hearts, once again, we would like to thank Saint John Bosco parish, Father Ric Polmounter, the staff and administration of Saint John Bosco, and especially all of you in attendance who graciously applauded our efforts and generously contributed to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation.

👏🏻 We cannot wait to perform for you again! We thank you for supporting such a wonderful cause today and for also supporting us in this endeavor. You help to keep the spirit of music alive and well.

☔️ Wishing you all a wonderful Memorial Day weekend despite the rainy weather.

This concert, every goodwill donation received will be given to support the Tunnel to Towers Foundation which helps to provide aid to our nation’s heroes and their families.
