On October 21 from 9am-1pm, local pharmacy Baxley Wellness is hosting a DRUG TAKE BACK DAY! Drop off your unused or expired meds for safe disposal. Thank you, Baxley Wellness, for hosting this initiative for a safer community for all! (Peep our Mercy tshirt at the end!!)

✨ Happy Boss’s Day, Clint! ✨

Today, we want to take a moment to celebrate and show our appreciation for Clint, the Executive Director of The Mercy Ministries. While we give God all the glory for everything happening across both of our campuses, Clint’s leadership, stewardship, and faithfulness to our mission have helped shape Mercy into what it is today.

Through every challenge and every blessing, we trust that God is in control. We are grateful for Clint’s commitment to faithfully praying, seeking God’s direction, and listening for His wisdom as he leads our ministry forward.

Thank you, Clint, for all you do for our team, our patients, and the communities we serve! Your leadership helps bring our mission to life, and because of your guidance, we continue to believe that rural communities can take care of themselves through compassionate healthcare and the hope of the Gospel.

⭐️Happy Birthday Jerri-Ann⭐️

We’re a few days early, but today we had the joy of celebrating our amazing provider and friend, Jerri-Ann!

The love, compassion, and genuine care she shows her patients are exactly what healthcare needs more of today. We are so grateful the Lord led her to Mercy Ministries and that we get to work alongside someone who makes such a meaningful difference our lives and in the lives of so many others.

This is a question we love to answer: YES!

Our MAP (Medication Assistance Program) Coordinator, Ana, works diligently to help our patients access the medications they need, often for free!

Free Diabetic Medications: Most injectable and oral diabetic medications can be provided to our patients at no cost!

Accessible Maintenance Medications: Many routine medications for conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, seizures, thyroid disorders, and mental health can often be obtained free of charge for our patients.

And when we can’t get a medication for free, we’re grateful to have locally owned pharmacies right here in Baxley and Hazlehurst that partner with us to provide our patients with discounted medication pricing.

The Lord has blessed our clinic with avenues to help remove the cost of medications as a barrier to care and make sure our patients have access to the medications they need.

Every new patient at The Mercy Ministries will begin their care with an Intake Appointment during their first visit.

This appointment includes two important pieces designed to support your health journey:
1. We’ll complete a simple, one-page form to confirm your insurance and income information and patient eligibility.
2. We’ll review our Patient Agreement to make sure both you, the patient, and The Mercy Ministries understand our shared expectations. This helps us work together toward the best possible care, and health outcomes.

Our goal is to make the intake process simple, transparent, and focused on you and your health. We look forward to walking alongside you as you receive healthcare and hope at our clinic

We get this question a lot, so let’s talk about it!

Our established primary care patients may be eligible for limited dental services, including exams and extractions, thanks to the generosity of our volunteer dentists.

If a patient has a dental infection or abscess, their primary care provider will first treat the infection. Once that is addressed, eligible patients can be placed on our dental list to receive an extraction when an appointment becomes available.
