SMC Auxiliary

The SMC Auxiliary has provided support for Sakakawea Medical Center since 1947. Meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month at 1:00 p.m.

The Hazen Hospital Auxiliary exists to promote and advance the welfare of Sakakawea Medical Center. We do this by acquainting the public with the mission of SMC, engaging in fundraising activities, and helping with other charitable works that promote the values, mission, and charitable purposes of the hospital. The Hazen Hospital Auxiliary is best known for our Annual Turkey Dinner held every Apri

l as a fundraiser. Other events that are sponsored by the Auxiliary include an employee tea, the hospital gift shop, love lights and quilt raffle. in the hospital board room during the months of September through May.

🎓 Scholarship Opportunity!

The Sakakawea Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary is excited to offer three $1,000 scholarships through the Mary A. McCord Trust!

✔️ Open to students from Mercer County
✔️ Must have completed at least one year of post-secondary education
✔️ Pursuing a career in a health-related field
🚫 Prior recipients are not eligible

📬 Deadline: Applications must be postmarked by July 31, 2026
