Happy Flag Day!

Today we recognize the flag of the United States, a symbol that has represented our nation for generations.

At Bringing Families Together, we are grateful for the communities, families and caregivers who help children feel safe, supported and connected every day. Strong families and caring communities create opportunities for children and youth to thrive.

As we observe Flag Day, we celebrate the values of unity, hope and service that bring people together - and bring us together in the support of children and families.

Wishing everyone a happy Flag Day!

June is Reunification Month and Pride Month 🌈💜

We honor the families working to rebuild trust, strengthen relationships and move toward safe, lasting reunification — and we also celebrate the LGBTQ youth who deserve to be seen, affirmed and supported exactly as they are.

We need foster and adoptive families who are committed to safety, belonging and unconditional care for every child and teen, including LGBTQ youth who may be navigating identity, rejection or the need for a more affirming home.

At Bringing Families Together, we believe every young person deserves stability, respect and love that doesn’t come with conditions. 🏳️‍🌈✨

This month, we hold both truths: healing families and expanding families of support.

Important child safety information from Missouri Department of Social Services.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, more than 1,000 children have died of heatstroke over the past 25 years due to being left or becoming trapped in a hot car.

that over 50% of pediatric vehicular heatstroke deaths are a result of a parent or caregiver forgetting a child in a car?

It is important to always !
- Look in the backseat every time you exit your vehicle
- Keep a reminder item (like a phone or purse) near your child
- Set a phone alert to check for your child if your routine changes
