With this months Third Thursday falling on the last day of work before break, the New Machinists Comittee is canceling this months happy hour and encouraging members to inquire about departmental gatherings/parties after work, and to spend more time with their loved ones.

The New Machinists Comittee wishes everyone Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We look forward to seeing everyone on January 18th at Lehmans landing for the first Happy Hour of 2024.

Good Afternoon All. Today is the day for the union picnic. 11-5pm. Lots of fun for the family. Rock Climbing wall, bounce house, petting Zoo, Pony Rides, Bungee Jumping, Snow Cones, Hamburgers and Hot Dogs, and beer for the adults. All activities, food, and drinks are free for members and their families. Only cash you will need is for the dunking booth with all proceeds going to Guide Dogs of America.

---Just a reminder to all active members and retirees---

The annual District 837 Picnic is tomorrow. Saturday September 16, 2023 from 11am – 5pm.

Lots of fun for the kids with snow cones, Pony Rides, face painting, a rock climbing wall, and bounce houses.

Free food for family and free beer for the adults. There will be washers and bags tournaments and frisbee golf.

There will be a dunking booth as well with all proceeds going to Guide Dogs of America.

Come out and build some solidarity with your Brothers and Sisters. Bring your Family, and enjoy the day with lots of fun for the kids, food, and great company!

New machinists happy hour is canceled tonight due to inclement weather! We will resume next month. Please spread the word.

Our monthly happy hours have been a resounding success!

They will continue to be at this location every third Thursday.

Come hang out with your peers, make some new friends, have some drink, good food and shoot some pool.

Whether you wanna just shake off the workday or have a chance to talk to some union leadership from the local lodge level all the way up to the district level, come on out.

First round is always on me.
