Come and learn to play hand games!
Hand games, or stick games, are popular guessing games of chance. One team tries to guess which player on the opposing team has the sticks with the markings on them and which hand they are hiding them in, all while there is singing and drumming!

Our night will be taught by the Haskell Indian Nations University’s hand game team’s coach, Jeremy Shields. We hope you all can join us and learn this old way of having fun with one another!

Join us for this 3rd Annual Walk/Ride/Bike. A potluck soup supper will be shared following the event. Bring a lawn chair and relax/visit with your new friends. This is not a weather dependent event...if it rains or snows, it still happens. Dec. 6, 2025 is 188 years and 1 day after the first 365 Cherokee walked the same stretches of the Trail of Tears, headed to Indian Territory. The following year 10,000 followed their route.
