TraffickCam is a mobile application that enables you to help combat child s*x abuse and human trafficking by uploading photos of the hotel rooms you stay in when you travel.

Abusers and traffickers regularly post photographs of their victims posed in hotel rooms for online advertisements.

These photographs are evidence that can be used to find and prosecute the perpetrators of these crimes. In order to use these photos, however, investigators must be able to determine where the photos were taken.

The purpose of TraffickCam is to create a database of hotel room images that an investigator can efficiently search, in order to find other images that were taken in the same location as an image that is part of an investigation.

The images that you submit via TraffickCam are used to train an image search system that is currently in use on a regular basis at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (https://www.missingkids.org/home).

Several House members had called for Mr. Gonzales, a Texas Republican, to step down after texts emerged showing his pursuit of a staff member who later killed herself.

If you're curious why the SAVE act and the protests against it have been such a big deal, you need to read Project 2025. Taking rights away from women and putting the authority for decisions over women's lives in the hands of men, fathers, husbands, etc, is a central theme. It's already begun and it's not going to stop without a fight.

A Westland man is facing federal charges after he allegedly traded child po*******hy on the messaging app Kik.

Kevin Thomas Howard is facing two federal charges of possession of child po*******hy and receipt and distribution of child po*******hy.

The FBI received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) on Dec. 8 about a Kik user who had files containing child po*******hy.

On July 2, 2025, the messaging platform Kik submitted a tip to NCMEC that a user had uploaded and shared seven videos in a private chat with another user that were flagged as apparent child po*******hy.

Kik also submitted a tip to NCMEC on Sept. 8 about a user sharing several videos in a private chat with another user that were also flagged by Kik as apparent child po*******hy.

According to court documents, some of the explicit videos included an infant.

Federal authorities said the two users in the tips Kik sent to NCMEC had the same email address associated with the accounts.

Authorities served a subpoena to Comcast on Dec. 8 for the IP address for the billing and subscriber information as it was assigned on Sept. 8. On Dec. 9, federal authorities learned that the subscriber was Howard, with his phone number associated with the account.

The FBI obtained a federal search warrant for his home in Westland and for his arrest. Howard was encountered in a traffic stop and was arrested on Dec. 16. His phone was seized from his car.

During an interview, the FBI said Howard admitted to using the email associated with the Kik accounts. He said he used Kik for several years and knew he was allegedly receiving and distributing child po*******hy.

He allegedly told FBI agents that he was a member of several groups that would trade child po*******hy, and he would often trade videos and images he obtained from others.

Howard is expected to appear in federal court on Dec. 22 at 1 p.m.
