Thanks to our wonderful sponsor Christian Appalachian Project we have a wonderful load of furniture on the lot now 9/1/26 at 12:30 PM. Make sure you bring someone to help you pack as some items are heavy.

What an honor it was to welcome the Governor and former Governor to the Hazel Green Food Project! ❤️

We are incredibly thankful they took the time to stop by, visit with us, and see firsthand the work being done to help families throughout Eastern Kentucky.

One thing we will always stand firm on: hunger is not a Democrat issue or a Republican issue—it is a Kentucky issue. Hunger doesn't ask who you voted for, what party you belong to, or where you stand politically. When a Kentucky family is hungry, we should all be willing to pull up a chair, work together, and find a way to help.

At the Hazel Green Food Project, our mission has never been about politics. It's about people helping people, neighbors helping neighbors, and making sure no one in our communities has to face hunger alone.

Thank you both for taking the time to visit, listen, and recognize the importance of fighting hunger in Eastern Kentucky. We are proud of our little community and even prouder of the BIG hearts that make this work possible. ❤️

Because when it comes to hunger, we're not red or blue—we're Kentucky. 💙
