POCKET MENTORING CAME THRU TODAY.. WE ADOPTED A FAMILY FROM FORD HEIGHTS AND THEIR SMILES ALONE DID IT FOR ME.. MY BOYS ARE GETTING A LESSON ON GIVING BACK. ON THE WAY HOME THEY WERE TALKING TO ME ABOUT LIFE AND I WANTED TO CRY. I SWEAR I'M SOFT.. THESE BOYS ARE GROWNING UP RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME AND I'M GLAD WE ARE APART OF THAT JOURNEY. Da Pocket was in full effect again today. We had matching outfits, a birthday boy, and a special guest (my daughter) who always has fun. Great time connecting with the boys again after a long week.

What better way to kick off this Saturday than with our kickoff meeting for The Pocket!! Enjoyed seeing the boys again, hearing about their summer fun, setting goals, the upcoming school year and just catching up. Looking forward to another great year as we continue to build with these young men as they grow and mature into fine young men.
