Perry County Diabetes Coalition We are a group of community members dedicated to the prevention and effective management of diabetes. We meet at Noon on the first Thursday of each month.

We are a group of concerned community members - professionals, people with diabetes, family members, and others - who want to raise awareness of diabetes as well as provide education on diabetes prevention and effective management. We meet via Zoom, at least for the foreseeable future, so message us for the meeting link.

Today, we celebrated 10 years as a Coalition!
Thank you to everyone who came out and joined us!
We had a very special presentation from Senator Brandon Smith, honoring our dedication to prevention and management of diabetes.
We had a lovely lunch prepared by local establishments. Thank you to Shenanigans, Harvey Nutrition and Hazard Coffee Company. Our food was amazing and carb friendly!!!!
Our goal is to build a healthy community. Please join us and help us fill in the gaps in our community! We need you and your input!!

Perry County Diabetes Coalition was well represented today at the Kentucky Statewide Diabetes Symposium.
Members joined together with healthcare providers across the state as well as Ohio and Indiana to enhance their knowledge and better serve our community!
Special shoutout to Ashley Webb who was also a speaker at the Symposium today! Well done Ashley! We are very proud of you and your accomplishments!!!!!
