The Tennessee Delta Alliance has been named 2026 Non-Profit Recycler of the Year by the Tennessee Recycling Coalition!

We could say we’re shocked… but we’ve been recycling the same good ideas for years. 😉

Thank you to the Tennessee Recycling Coalition for recognizing our work to prevent litter, protect our waterways, and promote environmental stewardship across the Mississippi River Delta.

We’ll try not to let this go to our compost bin. 🌱

We are excited to share that Reelfoot Lake State Park has been awarded the Platinum Level of Achievement in the Tennessee State Parks Go Green With Us Program! 🎉

Moving up from last year’s Gold Level, Reelfoot Lake State Park is continuing to raise the bar—and Diamond Level is now in our sights! 💎🌿

The Go Green With Us Program recognizes parks for their ongoing commitment to sustainability, with five levels of achievement: Silver, Bronze, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. As parks continue implementing environmentally friendly practices, they move up the tiers toward greater sustainability.

🌎 This program is a partnership between Tennessee State Parks and our visitors, working together to protect and preserve our beautiful state parks through:


♻️ Resource conservation and recycling
💧 Water conservation and bottle-filling stations
🌱 Sustainable park operations

We are SO excited to see the excitement surrounding our NEW Chemical Drop-Off Location! 💚♻️ We know many of you have noticed the new fencing, signage, and address posted on the sign, and we are thrilled that our community is just as excited as we are!

However, we want to make one thing very clear:

🚨 THE CHEMICAL DROP-OFF LOCATION IS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. 🚨

Even though the address is now visible, please do not bring chemicals to the location or leave anything outside the gate without a scheduled appointment. This is extremely important for the safety of our community and everyone involved.

📅 Our official Ribbon Cutting & Grand Opening Celebration is being planned for sometime in September, and we cannot wait to celebrate this huge milestone with our community! 🎀✂️🎉

Until then, please stay tuned to our page for information regarding appointments, accepted materials, and the official Grand Opening date.

We appreciate everyone’s excitement, patience, and cooperation as we put the finishing touches on this new service for Tipton County! 💚
