August is a month of celebration for 4Cs of Alameda County! We marked the one-year milestone of Measure C, honored 44 CCIP participants, equipped 631 students for the classroom, and received a $1,600 donation from Ace Hardware of Fremont and their generous customers. Congrats to the 44 Child Care Initiative Project (CCIP) participants for completing a full year of business training. From opening new family child care businesses and earning state licensing to upgrading current operations, every participant is elevating the quality of care for the children in our community. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and lasting impact.

Last Friday, we joined community partners at Children’s Fairyland in Oakland to provide family resources and celebrate Year 1 of Measure C! In its very first year, $135 million in Measure C contracts helped reach nearly 20,000 children and more than 6,400 early educators and caregivers across Alameda County! Thank you First 5 Alameda County for hosting such an inspiring and impactful celebration!
