El ELAC existe para el beneficio de todos los padres de familia con hijos en el distrito escolar de Hayward identificados como "aprendices de inglés" o alumnos "reclasificados." Tiene dos propósitos principales:

1) Mantenerlos informados sobre las políticas, leyes, procedimientos y temas didácticos que incumbe a estos alumnos

2) Proveer un foro para que los miembros aporten comentario y sugerenc

ia en la toma de decisión que impacte a estos alumnos. Y no menos importante, compartir recursos útiles e información para nuestras familias. The HUSD ELAC exists for the benefit of all parents of English Learners and reclassified (RFEP) students. It has two main goals:

1) Maintaining parents informed on policies, laws, procedures and pedagogical issues that pertain to these students

2) Provide a forum for members to provide timely feedback on decisions made on behalf of these students. And not less important, share helpfull resources and information for our families.
