Over the last 4 days, 3 of our firefighter mentors headed out to Austin, TX, for the Women in Fire Conference. It was such an incredible few days of hands-on training, empowerment and support from female firefighters from all over the country. We matter and we make a difference in the fire service. This is the mentality that we also bring to our girls+ camps. We all have a place at the table and we want to inspire and mentor the next generation of female firefighters to know this. Speaking of which, CAMP IS COMING. If you haven’t registered yet, PLEASE DO SO. Camp is the weekend of October 17 and 18. It will be a great time and you don’t want to miss out.

🌈 Happy Pride Month! 🌈

At NorCal Women in the Fire Service, we believe every person deserves to feel safe, respected, and empowered to be their authentic self - at work, at school, at home, and in their community.

The fire service continues to evolve and become more representative of the communities we serve. While there is still work to do, we know that diverse perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds make us stronger firefighters, stronger teams, and better able to serve the public in times of need.

We are committed to fostering a fire service where everyone feels welcome, valued, and has the opportunity to thrive.

🚒 Our next First Alarm Girls+ Fire Camp is coming up October 17–18! Registration opens in September.

You are welcome here. You belong here.
We hope you’ll follow along, learn more, and join us as we help build the next generation of fire service leaders. And we can’t wait to see what you’ll become!❤️🚒🌈
