🎉 Mitchell Park Place has another reason to celebrate!

We're excited to share that Mitchell Park Place has received the 2026 Vanguard Award for New Construction, Under 100 Units, recognizing excellence in quality multifamily affordable housing development.

Developed in partnership with AbilityPath, Mitchell Park Place provides 50 affordable homes in Palo Alto, including 25 reserved for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The community reached full occupancy just one month after opening its doors in November 2025.

We’re incredibly proud of the many partners and Team Eden members who helped bring this community to life. Congratulations to everyone who made Mitchell Park Place possible and continues to make it a wonderful place to call home! 👏👏

It takes a village to build affordable housing. And Pacific Station North Apartments is a wonderful example of what that really means.

After years of planning, partnership, and persistence, we joined the City of Santa Cruz, For The Future Housing, and the many partners who helped make this community possible to celebrate the grand opening of 128 new affordable homes in the heart of downtown Santa Cruz! 🎉

Pacific Station North is about more than housing. As part of the larger Pacific Station redevelopment, it brings together affordable homes, transit, commercial spaces, and new infrastructure in one transit-oriented downtown community. Residents will also receive long-term Santa Cruz METRO passes, providing free access to METRO buses.

Projects like this don’t happen without a village. We’re excited to join our friends at The Kelsey for the second annual Summit on December 2, bringing together leaders across advocacy, design, development, philanthropy, and healthcare. And Susie will be joining the conversation as one of this year’s featured speakers.

Together, attendees will learn from leaders with lived experience, explore real-world examples of disability-forward housing, and share ideas for creating a future where affordable, accessible, and inclusive housing is the norm.

Sparrow at Mulberry Gardens Apartments, a new affordable senior community in Riverside, is now accepting applications until Tuesday, October 6, 2026.

The four-story community will provide 58 affordable homes for seniors, creating more opportunities for older adults to find a safe, stable place to call home in Riverside.

A new space for our youngest residents and neighbors to learn, grow, and thrive! 🌱

Together with The Unity Council, we recently celebrated the grand opening of a new Early Head Start Child Development Center at West Rivertown Apartments in Antioch.

The center will provide children and families with high-quality early learning alongside health, mental health, and family support services during some of the most important years of a child’s development.

West Rivertown was designed to be more than a place to live, and we’re grateful to The Unity Council and everyone who helped bring this valuable resource directly into the community.

is one of the most pressing issues in Santa Cruz County, and we at Eden Housing appreciate the strong support from local elected officials, including Manu Koenig, who serves as the First District Supervisor for Santa Cruz County. Originally elected to the Board of Supervisors in 2020, Manu was born and raised in Santa Cruz County, giving him deep insight into the issues that affect citizens.

We sat down with him to discuss his path to public service, along with an exciting measure that will help support all citizens in the county.

The City of Santa Cruz, Eden Housing and For the Future Housing will celebrate the grand opening of Pacific Station North Apartments on Sept. 29, marking the completion of the final phase of the transit-oriented redevelopment in downtown Santa Cruz between Pacific Avenue and Front Street.

Located at 900 Pacific Ave., Pacific Station North offers a mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments for individuals and families. Thirty-two homes are reserved for extremely low-income households, including 11 homes for individuals and families receiving supportive housing assistance. Fifty-one homes are project-based voucher units, with a preference for households with Emergency Housing Vouchers. The remaining homes are reserved for households earning less than 50% to 60% of the Area Median Income for Santa Cruz County, with a preference for households who live or work in the City of Santa Cruz.

Most of the community’s residential amenities are located on the second floor and include four outdoor decks totaling 1,409 square feet, a 1,186-square-foot community room, a large central laundry room, and a computer room. Property management offices are located on the first floor, as is a 1,585 square foot residential bike room. All residents will receive long term transit passes through Santa Cruz METRO, allowing them to ride METRO buses for free.

The project is designed to be all-electric and is targeting GreenPoint Gold certification in accordance with its funding commitments. Common areas and accessible units are designed to meet or exceed Americans with Disabilities Act accessibility standards.
