🏡The best milestone of all: welcoming residents home!

It was a joy to meet the new residents and see La Vista Apartments in Hayward begin to come to life as a community. These are the moments we look forward to throughout the entire development process.

With residents now calling La Vista home and construction nearing completion, we look forward to celebrating the grand opening with our residents, partners, and supporters. 🎉

Monica’s story were just one of the many heartfelt remarks we've heard from the recipients of our annual Howard T. Collins Memorial Scholarship Program.

This year, Eden Housing awarded nearly $125,000 to 29 students pursuing their educational and career goals. And for 34 years, the program has helped Eden residents continue their education, awarding $1.4 million to more than 700 students since 1993.

We’re grateful to be a small part of their journeys and to everyone who continues to believe in and support the dreams of our scholars.

Another 68 affordable homes are on the way in ! 🏗️

Together with the County of Santa Clara, we celebrated the groundbreaking of East Santa Clara Senior, a new community that will provide 68 affordable rental homes for seniors, including 20 permanent supportive housing homes for seniors exiting homelessness.

Part of the larger East Santa Clara Master Plan, the development will also incorporate the adaptive reuse of Building 800, formerly IBM’s first West Coast office, and create new community spaces for residents and the surrounding neighborhood.

We were thrilled to mark this milestone alongside so many elected officials, community partners, and supporters. A huge thank you to the County of Santa Clara, the Santa Clara County Housing Authority, and everyone who has helped move East Santa Clara Senior forward.

We can’t wait to watch this new community take shape and welcome residents home!

Our hearts (and camera rolls) are full after !

From morning celebrations to evening festivities, National Night Out 2026 brought our communities together in the best way possible! Across our properties, residents, staff, elected officials, first responders, and community partners came together for a day filled with games, food, music, laughter, and connection.

💚 Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating the power of community. We were especially grateful to welcome so many local and state elected officials, first responders, and partners who took the time to connect with our residents.

A huge thank you to our incredible Team Eden for the months of planning, creativity, and heart that made these celebrations possible. And to our amazing residents, thank you for showing up, participating, and making every event so special. We can't wait to do it all again next year!

California continues to have the highest "housing wage" in the nation, according to the National Low Income Housing Coalition's recent released Out of Reach 2026 report. The findings underscore the ongoing challenge of housing affordability for workers and families across the state.

This November, California voters will get the chance to change this. If passed, Proposition 1, the Veterans and Affordable Housing Bond Act of 2026, will help communities all over California build more affordable housing, preserve existing affordable homes, and expand homeownership for the next generation.

It's exciting to see this future affordable housing community taking shape in Morgan Hill just months after celebrating the groundbreaking with our partners and supporters earlier this year.
