🥂 After nearly two decades in the making, we were proud to celebrate the kickoff of the Downtown Livermore Apartments project alongside our partners and supporters.

This celebration marked the start of excavation activities and recognized the award of more than $6 million in Measure W funding from Alameda County.

Once completed, Downtown Livermore Apartments will bring 130 affordable homes for low-income families to the heart of downtown Livermore, helping more families live and work in the community they call home.

This milestone reflects years of vision, persistence, and partnership. We are grateful to the many partners and supporters who helped make this moment possible 👏👏👏

Access to safe, stable housing is the foundation of strong communities. That’s what is all about.

From May 23–June 7, Eden Housing joins NeighborWorks America and network organizations across the country in celebrating the power of community development, partnership, and investment in housing. Together, we’re creating opportunity, strengthening neighborhoods, and building a better future for all.

This year, we’re especially excited to celebrate the grand re-opening of Del Nido Apartments during NeighborWorks Week. Originally built in 1970, Del Nido provides 206 affordable homes for families in Santa Rosa. The community recently underwent a comprehensive renovation, ensuring residents continue to have a safe and welcoming place to call home.

🚧 Construction is officially underway at 2700 International in Oakland.

We were proud to celebrate this important milestone alongside our partners, supporters, and community members. Developed in partnership with The Unity Council, 2700 International will bring 75 permanently affordable homes to Oakland’s Fruitvale neighborhood, including 22 supportive housing homes for formerly homeless veterans.

The project marks a major investment in affordable housing, community development, and long-term stability for Oakland residents. This mixed-use community will provide not only housing, but spaces designed to foster connection, wellness, and opportunity—from community gathering spaces and gardens to resident services and supportive programming.

A special thank you to The Unity Council for their partnership, leadership, and shared commitment to creating stronger and more inclusive communities.

🎊 We were thrilled to welcome new residents home and celebrate the grand opening of Mitchell Park Place alongside our partners, supporters, and community members.

Mitchell Park Place is a new community in Palo Alto, bringing 50 affordable homes—including 25 homes for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities—as well as new office space for AbilityPath. The County of Santa Clara selected Eden Housing to bring its vision for a vibrant, mixed-use community on County-owned land to life.

Located near parks, transit, community resources, and everyday amenities, Mitchell Park Place was thoughtfully designed to support residents in leading connected and independent lives. From all-electric sustainability features to welcoming community spaces, this development reflects what’s possible through strong partnerships and a shared commitment.

There’s nothing more meaningful than hearing that at the grand re-opening of Ridgeview Commons in Pleasanton. Originally built in 1989, the community provides 200 affordable rental homes for seniors.

With thoughtful renovations and upgrades—including refreshed community spaces, new windows, heating and cooling systems, toilets, and bathroom fans in every home, as well as 20 fully converted ADA-accessible residences—Ridgeview Commons is ready to serve residents for years to come, ensuring they can continue to live comfortably and age in place.
