Psalm 121:2
“My help comes from the Lord, Maker of Heaven & Earth.”
There is something steadying about remembering where your help comes from.
Not from having every answer.
Not from controlling every outcome.
Not from keeping everyone happy.
Not from being strong enough to carry everything alone.
“My help comes from the Lord.”
And not just any helper. The Maker of heaven and earth. The One who shaped mountains, water, sky, forests, and every breath in our lungs is the same One who sees the thing weighing on you today.
That means your problem is not too complicated for Him. Your fear is not too small for Him. Your need is not an interruption to Him.
So today, before you run to panic, overthinking, distraction, or control, look up. Ask for help. Not vague help. Real help. Wisdom for the decision. Strength for the day. Peace for the anxiety. Courage for the conversation.
A simple prayer:
Lord, my help comes from You. Remind me today that You are bigger than what I am facing and closer than I often realize. Give me wisdom, strength, and peace for what is in front of me. Amen.
