Under the Dark of the Moon in Libra and by the light of Her holy twin torches, we opened ourselves to Her Truth—the Truth that causes Feeling, Knowing, and Transformation

You see yourself, your life, your world exactly as you wish it to be, exactly as you know it will be, exactly as it is currently in another dimension, right now. You call your dream to you; you call your dream into being. You are birthing your dream.

When you feel you have achieved the greatest energetic connection with your vision, you light your candle, and whisper your intention into the flame.

Sitting with it for another moment, you gather up all of your emotion, and shoot this energy from your fingertips into the candle. As the candle burns down, so does your magick manifest.”

Tamás David-Barrett and James Carney say that ancient ancestor veneration might have ‘served a group coordination role during human evolution.’ This means that Ancestor veneration most likely goes back far before recorded herstory/history.”

The Crone could never be the Wisewoman without the benefit of her years, her experiences, her successes, her failures—she has seen, and lived through, it all. The Crone’s wisdom lies within, it is the deep-knowing that only comes of maturity and experience. This wisdom, knowing, and understanding is now an intrinsic part of who she is and is one of her greatest gifts and assets if only we allow her to share it with us.

Qualities of the Crone: Acceptance, Banishing, Death, Destruction, Dreams, Endings, Endurance, Experience, Fears, Hidden Things, Magick, Midwifery, the Mystery, Patience, Repose, Secrets, the Shadow Self, Stability, Stillness, Strength, Surrender, Wisdom. The Crone reminds us that all is in constant change and flux; that we are always in the process of transformation. She is the repository for life’s wisdom, the Mysteries of Birth, Death, and Rebirth.
