Today, June 14th, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Department of Kansas proudly joins our nation in celebrating the 251st Birthday of the United States Army — the oldest branch of America’s Armed Forces and the foundation of our freedom since 1775.

From the rolling plains of Kansas to battlefields across the globe, Kansas Soldiers have stood tall — defending liberty, protecting our communities, and carrying forward the Army’s legacy of honor and courage.

To every Kansan who has served or continues to serve in the United States Army — including the Army Reserve and the Army National Guard — thank you for your dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to our nation.

* Good morning! Here is what is happening in and around our post for Saturday June 13th
* State Convention in Topeka
* OPEN 10-12 am
* 12-3 pm: Backroom rental
* 5-9 pm: Italian dinner $12 all you can eat while supplies last. Purchase plates and to go containers at the bar.
* Don't forget, we are having our June birthday party this coming Thursday the 18th at 6 pm. If your birthday falls in June come enjoy some cake and plenty of laughs with the amazing people of our post!
