The Haysville Fraternal Order of Police would like to remind everyone that there is a free crime prevention class tomorrow at the Haysville Police Department from 9am to 1pm. It is called Refuse to be a Victim and covers the basics of home security, personal awareness, and travel security along with several other topics. Currently certified police officers and fire firefighters are not paid overtime rates for the time they work over 40 hours per week. They are paid on a 28 day pay period with police not getting overtime for the first eleven hours and fire for the first 32 hours of overtime. They are also not allowed...

This week ends the Click It or Ticket campaign and Lodge 69 would rather have its friends buckle up than risk a ticket...or serious injury, death, and evertrhing else that results from a crash without a searbelt. And don't forget to strap the kiddos in thier car seats!
