Ellis County Emergency Responders Rehab

Ellis County Emergency Responders Rehab To ensure the health and well being of our Emergency Responders and the General Public.

Founded in 2011 by Charlie Dorzweiler EMT-I/Rural Firefighter to assist Emergency Responders in the event of a disaster. We will provide water, cooling devices, and anything needed to ensure all emergency responders are able to function at the highest level in the disaster process. Several studies have shown that Emergency Responders at high risk of dehydration, heat and cold releated illnesess an

d lose of life during disasters due to the increased work load and stress level. Emergency Respnders from Fiire, EMS and Law Enforcement are the people working endlessly during disasters such as Tornados, Earthquakes, Terrorist attacks, etc. By establishing a set area for these Responders to take a break, cool off (warm up), and rest is essential to the survival of the victims of the disaster because if these men and woman can function at the highest level possible it gives the victim a better chance.
