If you are familiar with the Women Who Lead organization, you know what a dedicated and effective group they are, and how they make our community a better place to live.

Last October, through their program "Women Who Feed," they began serving one evening meal per month to seniors. Last Thursday evening, they served meals to a crowd of 150 seniors and the Lt Governor of Kansas, David Toland. This is exactly the type of activity that the Bob & Pat Schmidt Community Center Gathering space was designed for.

Well done, ladies! Bob & Pat Schmidt would be proud of what is being done in this amazing facility!

Local artists Bruce Burkholder and Mick Jilg have us put some finishing touches in the community gathering room at the Bob & Pat Schmidt Community Center.

They are allowing us to display these two beautiful art pieces. They really finish off the room. Many thanks to these amazing artists!
