Today we take a moment to remember this brave men and women who ran toward danger, when others were fleeing. We continue everyday to continue your legacy and your courage. We pray for those families affected on that day, and we continue to pray for the men and women who are still paying today with health concerns. We pray our nation could come together as one like they did on Sept 12. Thank you 343, your lives will never be forgotten.

What is a simple way to promote a local non-profit organization that provides support to first responders? Wearing branded apparel, such as t-shirts and hats, is an effective way to do so. Our online store is open now through April 6. Anchor Point is a mental health support nonprofit dedicated to addressing the stigma surrounding mental health. All proceeds from this sale will go towards providing essential support to our first responder community. You don't have to be a first responder to contribute; we believe in supporting everyone's mental health. Feel free to share this post and link with anyone who may be interested in purchasing apparel.

Today we take time to recognize World Mental Health day. While we believe it should be every day, we believe we need to prioritize mental health in our daily lives. Instead of judging the person next to you, take time to get to know them. You never know the battles they are fighting within. You never know, you could help someone just by starting a conversation.

Last Saturday, the Anchor Point team was able to climb 110 flights of stairs to honor the 343 firefighters that died on this day. We will make it our duty to make sure those names are never forgotten. Today we honor the thousands who died that day, and the thousands who have died since due to medical complications. And we will carry on the legacy of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice on this day.

Today we want to honor and thank those who have sacrificed it all for us to enjoy our lives in America. We thank those who gave it all on the battlefield, and those who passed at home from complications of their battles.

A navy seal by the name of Dom Raso defined honor as: Living a life that those who have gone before us would be proud.

Let’s live this day and everyday, in a way that is honoring those who have gone before us. This weekend isn’t about grilling, or going to the lake, or having an extra day off work. It’s about lives that were lost to protect our country. The ultimate sacrifice that not only they gave, but that theirs families made for them to pay the price. So to all those who gave it their all, as well as their families, we thank you!
