Who are we: We are first-time mothers who have truly learned the importance of community. To provide a hub for mothers to meet and share experiences, to offer advice and compassion, reassurance, and a normalization of the experiences with becoming a new mother. Where we are now: We are currently in the research and development stage, collecting feedback from the community and speaking with organi
zations interested in future collaboration. In an effort to maintain transparency we are happy to disclose that we are in the process of finalizing our 501c3 (Non Profit) tax status and bylaws with a local tax attorney. We are also in the process of building up our board of directors and are seeking interested parties to help us achieve the goals and objectives set out in our bylaws. If you or someone you know may be interested in a position on our board, we would love to hear from you! Please feel free to contact us at [email protected]
Our Goal: A center that remains open during normal business hours providing mothers (new, experienced & expecting) a place to meet, provide encouragement and instruction with the intention of promoting positive postpartum mental health. The center would be available for drop-in socialization, use by local support groups as well as hosting discussions held by local nurses, OBGYNs, & Pediatricians. An informal, comfortable setting that is welcoming and safe for mothers as well as their children. To bring our mothers together as well as bridge the gap between our families and the medical community. We will exist as an intervention mechanism to lower the risks of depression, anxiety, and perinatal stress before, during, and after pregnancy through camaraderie and education. We look forward to working with you to help make this dream a reality. Help us connect our mothers!
