The Hayfield Vikings battled back in a big way Tuesday night, rallying from a 5-1 deficit to defeat Lyle/Pacelli 12-5!

The Vikings exploded for 7 runs in the third inning to completely swing the momentum. Big hits from Jenna Christopherson, Kalei Tank, and Hallie Masching fueled the comeback, while aggressive base running kept the pressure on all game long.

June Schmeling was dominant in relief, shutting down Lyle/Pacelli over five innings while striking out 11 and allowing just one hit!

The Vikings finished with 10 hits on the night, led by Ashtyn Rouhoff who went 3-for-4 at the plate. Bamlet, Masching, and Christopherson each drove in two runs in the win.

Next up: a road matchup against Triton on Wednesday in Dodge Center first pitch @3:30

Strong hitting and a big night from Ella Bamlet wasn’t enough as the Hayfield Vikings fell 10-5 to WEM on Monday.

Bamlet led the Vikings at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a home run, double, and single while driving in two runs. Kenna Rutledge also had a strong game with two hits, including an RBI double as Hayfield jumped out to an early 4-2 lead.

The Vikings finished with 9 hits on the night and turned a double play defensively. WEM capitalized on Hayfield errors.

Hayfield is back in action Tuesday @ Lyle/Pacelli.

🔥 VIKINGS WIN! 🔥

The Hayfield Varsity Vikings took down Blooming Prairie 10-5 Thursday night behind a big performance at the plate from Kenna Rutledge!

Rutledge went a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate, while Ella Bamlet and Jenna Christopherson also collected three hits each as the Vikings piled up 11 hits as a team.

⚡ Offensive Leaders:
• Kenna Rutledge – 3 hits, 2 RBI
• Ella Bamlet – 3 hits, 2 RBI
• Jenna Christopherson – 3 hits, 2 RBI
• Hallie Masching – RBI hit & 2 stolen bases

In the circle, Ella Bamlet struck out 11 batters over seven innings to earn the win!

Hayfield Vikings couldn’t keep up with the Lewiston-Altura Cardinals tonight and fall 12-2

Hayfield got on the board early and kept battling throughout. Ella Bamlet and Jenna Christopherson each picked up a hit, while Ashtyn Rouhoff and Kalei Tank drove in runs to lead the offense.

The Vikings come back home Thursday as they host Blooming Praire @4:30

The bats were hot again for the Vikings leading to a huge section win over Mable-Canton.

Ella Bamlet led the way throwing a no hitter! Ella struck out 13 and walked 3. Ella also had 1 hit, 1run, and 1 RBI. Vikings take the 5-0 win

Big win for the Vikings!!

The Hayfield Vikings finished with a 12-3 victory over Bethlehem Academy behind an explosive night at the plate!

🔥 Offensive standouts all over the lineup:

* Kenna Rutledge: PERFECT 5-for-5 day at the plate scoring 3 runs and 3 RBIs
* Ella Bamlet: 3-for-4 with 3 RBIs
* Ashtyn Rouhoff: 3 hits, 2 runs, and 1 RBI
* June Schmeling: 3 hits, 2 runs and 2 RBIs
* Gisele Ruvalcaba: RBI single in the big 4th inning
* Adrian Dahle: RBI knock to keep the rally going
* Jenna Christopherson: 1 hit and 1 RBI

The Vikings racked up 17 total hits A huge 6-run fourth inning blew the game open with contributions from nearly everyone in the lineup!

Bamlet went all 7 innings, giving up just 3 runs while striking out 2. Defense showed up to back her up, turning two double plays to shut down scoring chances.

Next up: the Vikings are back in action tomorrow at Mabel-Canton. First pitch @4:30

The Vikings battled hard tonight through 7 innings to top ranked United South Central (USC) but came up short losing 6-0

Ella Bamlet hit a double to pick up the lone hit for the Vikings.

More action tomorrow tonight as the Vikings travel to Bethlehem Academy. First pitch @4:30

Tough one for the Vikings tonight as they fell to Randolph, 14-1.

Despite the early deficit, the Vikings kept battling. Ashtyn Rouhoff and Kenna Rutledge each had strong performances at the plate with two hits apiece, with Rouhoff also driving in the team’s lone run while going 2-for-3.

Ella Bamlet went the distance in the circle, competing through five innings.

The Vikings look to bounce back on the road Thursday as they take on Triton.
