Clay County Communities Revitalization Association CCCRA is a 501(c)(3) organization promoting economic, cultural, educational, health and environmental development in Clay County, N.C.

The CCCRA is an all volunteer organization that promotes and partners with many organizations both locally and regionally. The CCCRA has been instrumental in having the circa 1888 courthouse listed on the register of historic places, advancing the nutrition and education program at the NC extension, creating parks and hiking and biking trails as well as the archeological dig site at Spikebuck Mound. We also built and maintain the Cherokee Homestead exhibit where we conduct free educational programs for all ages. We support SAFF (Southern Appalachian Family Farms), local farmers and farmers markets. We created a free volunteer run museum and provide a series of free concerts on the town square which we maintain for the enjoyment of the entire community.

The Commercial hotel in Hayesville, NC in the late 1800s. At one time there were two hotels in Hayesville. I remember my grandfather telling me that when he was young, he went to the hotel to visit some family that were in town.
