The Gloucester Knights would like to extend a warm welcome to Saysha Cook, who is returning as Head Coach for cheer. Saysha has been an intermittent coach for GYFCL over the past few years. We are delighted to have her back on board. She places great emphasis on ensuring that all her cheerleaders look their best on the football field. Be prepared to showcase your spirit and pride. Saysha fosters a sense of unity among her team, encouraging a close-knit Cheer family. Be prepared to form strong bonds with her. Her philosophy is that the girls will always look great on the field. GYFCL is currently recruiting players to complete our 6u team roster, open to children aged 5 and 6. This developmental program emphasizes foundational football skills, ensuring a seamless transition to tackle football at the 8u level. Gloucester Knights places significant value on the 6u program. Get ready for the Spring Bling, a prime conditioning opportunity for the upcoming fall season. If your kids are newcomers to football and cheer, this shorter season is an excellent chance to try out the sport. It's also an ideal time to prepare your teams for the full season ahead. Cheerleaders will benefit from learning and perfecting their cheers during this period. The GYFCL invites you to an in-person registration event at the Boys and Girls Club on January 6th from 6:00 to 7:30, where you'll meet our USA-certified coaches and board members, and have the chance to ask questions.

As we enter the new season, we invite you to participate in our spring initiatives. Every season, we require dedicated individuals to fill essential positions. If you are interested in taking on one of these roles, please inform us. Let's work together to make this spring season outstanding. We are striving to fill these positions to ensure you can interact with parents during our registration event at the Boys and Girls Club on January 6th. GYFCL relies on volunteers to enhance the growth of our program, which benefits the children. Let's unite to create a memorable spring season for the kids. By collaborating, we can foster growth and improvement in Gloucester.

The Gloucester Knights organization will be hosting an in-person registrations for various age groups, including 6u flag, 8u, 10u, 12u, and 14u tackle and cheer, as well as girls' flag for 10u, 12u, 14u, and high school age, at the Boys and Girls Club in Hayes on January 6th from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. The address is Boys and Girls Club, 7066 Hayes Shopping Ct, Hayes, VA 23072. We invite you to attend, meet our coaches and board members, and obtain a membership with the Boys and Girls Club. Registration costs are as follows: $140.00 for flag, $175.00 for tackle and cheer** Note that 6u flag registration is free with a Boys and Girls Club membership, which costs $25.00.** 6u is a great way to get ready for tackling.

Come out and join us for our sign ups for spring season for football and sideline cheer. We will be out at Subway by Kroger in Hayes from 5:30 to 6:30 pm on January 14th. The spring season will have 6 game schedule. No need to travel we play locally. Hope to see you tomorrow.
