The Hayden Recreation Department is currently looking for Umpires for this summer’s Little League season!
It’s a great way to make some extra money, stay involved in the community, and spend time out at the ball fields this summer. No MLB experience required… just a positive attitude and willingness to help out the kids and programs in Hayden!

Hayden Community Center Earns National Sustainability Award 🏆

The Hayden Community Center has received the "Adaptive Reuse and Revitalization Specialty Award" from the Green Building Initiative as part of its 2025 Project of the Year honors.

The award recognizes outstanding projects that transform existing buildings into sustainable, community-focused spaces. The Hayden Community Center was honored for its successful revitalization of an existing facility into a modern, multi-use hub that preserves local character while advancing sustainability.

“Receiving this recognition highlights Hayden’s commitment to thoughtful, community-driven development,” said Mathew Mendisco, Hayden Town Manager. “This project reflects both where we’ve been and where we’re going.”

The 2025 award winners were officially announced during the Green Building Initiative’s annual recognition event on April 21, 2026, celebrating projects that lead the way in environmental stewardship and community impact.
