We have some new followers so I wanted to introduce myself and tell my story. 🙂
I am Brittany and this is my sweet family. I have been married to my sweet husband for 18 years. I am a mama to 3 and work at our local elementary school.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 34 years old. I will be 37 this year. I am in remission Praise to God. I underwent 12 weeks of chemo, a double mastectomy, 5 weeks of daily radiation, 7 months of targeted chemo, and about 13 surgeries. I also survived sepsis during all this.
God has been so good to me and radically changed my life in ways I can’t explain. He has shown Himself to me through this journey in many ways and I will forever glorify His name.
I started this ministry while I was in chemo. I started taking baskets to UAB Kirklin clinic. I then moved care to Grandview and I’ve been taking baskets there ever since. I also take local requests for baskets.
I have all my paperwork done with a local lawyer for my 501c3. Waiting to sign and pay and then I have to see our tax lady and I will pay her for her part and filings. Once I do that I’ll be official. God laid this on my heart 2 years ago and He has provided every step of the way. We’ve been able to bless around 500 cancer patients so far in 2.5 years and that brings me unexplainable amounts of Joy!
I am teaming up with our church and some church members to hopefully reach even more people. Thank you for being here and supporting this ministry.
Lots of love. 🫶
