Ptl. Zukofsky recently passed the Maryland State Police Basic Motorcycle Operations Course, making him a new member of our motor unit. Other members of the unit include Cpt. Carr, Lt. Michalski, Sgt. Delallo, Sgt. Robert, Sgt. Phillips, Ptl. Tumminello, Det. Vega, Det. Cueman, Ptl. Flynn, and Ptl. Lecouriex. The motor unit allows for enhanced mobility and maneuverability, a fast response time, improved traffic enforcement, and increased community relations. Congratulations to Ptl. Zukofsky, we are very excited to see you out there 🏍️ 😎

This week was HPD’s bi-annual firearm qualifications. Along with the two qualifications, we also have two additional firearm familiarizations throughout the year. Our department does not take training lightly. As you can see, rain or shine- we make sure all of our officers have the best and most efficient training possible. 💪🏻

In honor of national tele-communicators week, local 200 would like to shout out our amazing dispatchers. They are the first line of communication when you call 911 with an emergency. Their service to the community is invaluable and we are extremely grateful for what they do.
