🏈 Mineral County Pop Warner Football Registration Update 🏈

We are so close to fielding two football teams for the 2026 season, but we need your help!

🔹 9U Team (Ages 7, 8, & 9)
We need 2 more players to make this team fieldable.
🔹 12U Team (Ages 10, 11, & 12)
We need 7 more players to make this team fieldable.

If your child has been thinking about playing football, now is the time to register! Let's work together to give our kids the opportunity to play this season.

If registration costs are a concern, please reach out. We have our Fill My Helmet program, scholarship opportunities, and community members who are willing to sponsor athletes.

Football registration is open through June 20th!

We are getting very close to fielding a couple of teams, but we still need a few more players to make it happen. If your athlete has been thinking about playing, now is the time to get signed up!

Need financial assistance? Reach out to Jaci Smith for information about our Fill My Helmet Program or to apply for a scholarship.

Todays the last day to register for cheer. Get those athletes in before midnight. We will have uniform fits next weel. Details to come.

We have 4 teams this year JTM, MM, JPW, and JV.

Have questions about the season, costs, competitions, or what to expect? Reach out—we'd be happy to help!

🏆 Good news! This year, both Locals and Regionals will be held in Reno, helping make travel easier for our families.

⏰ We are extending cheer registration through Sunday at 11:59 p.m. to give families a little extra time to get those last registrations completed!
💰 Registration Fees:
New athletes: $200
Returning athletes: $150 (if your skirt still fits)
Need help covering registration costs? We have options available: 🎀 Fill My Bow Program 🎀 Scholarship Applications

We will have a parents meeting Friday June 5th at 6pm location lions park.

📏 Uniform fittings will be held next week, so don't miss this opportunity to get your athlete registered before fittings begin.

📣 We're also very close to forming a Junior Varsity Cheer Team! We currently have 5 athletes signed up and need at least 2 more to make a full team. If you have an athlete between the ages of 10 and 14 who is interested in cheer, please reach out. We'd love to make this team happen and give more athletes the opportunity to cheer this season!

Attention Cheer Families!

Update update update! We have a JTM coach. So excited for our first team.

⏰ The last day to register for the 2026 Cheer Season is Friday, June 5th! Don't wait until the last minute—get your athletes signed up before registration closes.

📅 Mandatory Parent Meeting Date: Friday, June 5, 2026
Time: 6:00 PM
Location: Lions Park

We will be discussing:
✅ Season expectations, guidelines, and rules
✅ Team information and season plans
✅ Competition opportunities and important dates
✅ Uniform fittings scheduled for the following week
✅ Questions and answers for parents

At least one parent or guardian should attend, as we will be covering important information for the upcoming season.

🏈📣 Thank You, Mineral County! 📣🏈

What a successful fundraiser we had today with our Car Wash & Bake Sale! We are incredibly grateful for the amazing support shown by our community.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support Mineral County Pop Warner Football & Cheer. Our athletes worked hard all day, and it was wonderful to see so many people stop by and support their efforts.

We would like to extend a special thank you to Ace Hardware for allowing us to use their parking lot, providing water, and always being willing to support our program. We are also incredibly thankful for their generous donation to Mineral County Pop Warner.

Another special thank you goes to Lovelock Pizza for stopping by and feeding our athletes and volunteers today. The pizza was a huge hit, and the kids were thrilled!

Thank you to all of our volunteers, parents, coaches, and athletes who gave their time and energy to make this event a success. We also want to thank Stephanie Smith and Stanley with NCM Lending for donating Reno Aces tickets as raffle prizes.

Because of your support, this fundraiser was a tremendous success and helps us continue providing opportunities for the youth of Mineral County.

We are excited for the season ahead and can't wait to see what our athletes accomplish this year. Thank you for believing in and supporting Mineral County Pop Warner!
