From the bottom of our hearts, we’ve been giving and helping less fortunate people for almost 20 years... from our own pocket. Just recently, I was bombarded, overwhelmed, by so many people asking donations. Some are rude they thought I pick-up money on the streets. We would like to help more to our beloved less fortunate individuals. That’s why we created this website hoping to raise funds from the people who has a golden heart to become our sponsors, donors, and contributors. Rest assured that your contribution/s will go directly to the people who needed it most.
My father’s legacy is to help people who needed it most. Way back 35-year ago, I saw my parents’ passion for helping people in need. At first, I wondered why they’re sending trucks that carrying rice, noodles, sardines, and dried fish to the mountain-side of whole Negros, Philippines (take note not only Escalante City). I would never forget that my father stopped his car/jeep just to pick up people who walk on the side of the street with their hands carrying heavy loads of stuff for their daily needs and stuff that they need to sell. These people walk miles away from the town of Balintawak and to their way back home or vice-versa. He also picked up kids that go to the public school (the same school as ours)... these kids were really very different in appearance, their clothes were torn, and old; though their feet are clean their sleepers have different pair and they don’t have school bags they put their school stuff in plastic cellophane, coconut husk that sewed, or a bag made from a flour sack fabric and a bag made from a rice sack. Before they jumped-out of the car my father gave them a paper that has a written on it “name, & shoe size” and told them, list your names and ask your parents your shoe size because I’ll buy all of you new shoes and bags.
When my father got back from Bacolod City he had these boxes of shoes and bags he then instructed maids to put a name on each box so that it is easier to give. I asked one of the maids while my father was listening- “Do we get new shoes and bag too?” My father replied why would you get new shoes and bag? Your shoes and bags were not even 3-month old! I wasn’t happy about it, I was so selfish and stomped my feet so hard and pouted my lips going upstairs while stomping my feet so hard. My father called me back in and asked: “how many shoes do you have”? I replied, only three pairs. Only three pairs? My father repeated it. Do you have any idea if those kids ever own a pair of shoes? You have eyes to see, and open your heart to feel them that they needed you! I cried not because I understand what my father said (I was like 10-year old)... I cried because I was so scared of my father’s voice. And he continued saying this-- “Do you know why we sent you and your brother to the public school to study tho we can afford to send you to the private school? It is because I want both of you most especially you to learn the value of ‘education, the value of money, the value of giving and the value of humility’ that whatever you achieved in life your feet is always in the ground because all of these are not forever ours... You always remember that God Yahuah is always the source of everything! (I owned a diary and always write my diary every day).
