We were also glad to see that her gift card helped buy string for the 2nd graders so they could learn some classic playground games — including Cat’s Cradle! 😊
Best wishes on your upcoming retirement, Sheri — Hawley Public Schools has been so lucky to have you over the years, and you will be greatly missed!

What a wonderful week it has been celebrating our staff — it has truly been such a pleasure! We are incredibly blessed with the very best, and we hope this week served as a small token of our gratitude for all they do each and every day.
On Friday, staff enjoyed a taco bar lunch, and we want to give a special thank you to our own Perry for all of the help in making it such a successful and seamless meal for everyone.
We would also like to thank Zorbaz, Sandy’s Donuts, and Pit 611 for graciously donating items for our daily raffle. We are so grateful for the support we receive from businesses both within and beyond Hawley.
This week would not have been possible without the generosity of the 20+ businesses that contributed to supporting and celebrating our staff. We are truly fortunate to be part of such a caring and supportive community who also want to celebrate the staff here! Zorbaz on the Lake Sandy's Donuts & Coffee Shop Pit 611

On Thursday, we kicked off the day with donuts, fresh mini muffins made by Shelby from Hubach Haven & Harvest, and delicious hot and cold brew coffee generously donated by Fill The Cup — such a wonderful way to start the morning!
Staff also enjoyed taking home a sweet treat with mix and cotton candy donated by The Mix in Dilworth and Krebs Kandy Co.
We’d also like to give a special thank you to Hawley Liquors and Hawley Country Club for generously donating items to help us celebrate and treat our amazing staff. Your support and kindness are truly appreciated.
It has been such a fun week recognizing and celebrating our staff — they deserve every bit of it!

☀️Staff had a fun day of TREATS yesterday!☀️

To begin the day, they could stop by to pick up a cup with a free ice cream cone from our local Dairy Queen, along with a tea packet from Hawley Nutrition and some candy.

For the afternoon, Soda Shop was parked in the Hawley football lot, where staff enjoyed a complimentary drink.

We’d also like to extend a big thank-you to two local businesses—Subway and RDO—for helping make the raffle possible. It was a day full of fun surprises as we celebrate our staff and show our appreciation for all the incredible work they do 😊

🌟 More Teacher Appreciation Spoiling! 🌟
Yesterday, staff enjoyed a delicious lunch, made possible by the generosity of two wonderful local businesses. A huge thank you to Hawley Family Dental and Muscatell for sponsoring sandwiches from Jimmy John’s—complete with sandwiches, chips, cookies, and drinks. It was such a thoughtful treat!
👉We’re also incredibly grateful to the many local businesses who contributed to today’s raffle prizes:
• Sellin Brothers donated Texas Roadhouse gift cards, giving a few lucky winners the chance to enjoy a great dinner out.
• MN Slice provided personalized cups with golf balls, along with coupon packs for some delicious food.
• Mabel’s Mercantile donated two delightful gift baskets filled with goodies for staff to enjoy.
🥰The PTO is so thankful for the continued support of our local businesses. Your generosity helps us celebrate and spoil our amazing school staff in meaningful ways!

We’re excited to kick off Staff Appreciation Week and celebrate the incredible team at our elementary school all week long!
Who doesn’t love starting a Monday with a few sweet treats? We provided a sugary pick me up for staff to choose from cake, homemade cookies by the fabulous Hubach Haven & Harvest, and some brownie bites! Hubach Haven + Harvest
🌟A special shoutout to the amazing local businesses and community members who helped make this year’s raffle possible. Today’s winners will be treated to:
• Frosted Bites – our very own Marie Ackerman generously donated a giant cookie and gift card from her cookie business. Frosted Bites MN
• Ashley Martodam – each day, one staff member will be spoiled with a thoughtfully curated gift basket of goodies, generously donated by Ashley.
We’re so grateful for the support and for the chance to celebrate our wonderful staff in such a fun way!
