Dear Hawley Youth Athletics. As parents, neighbors, coaches, and community members who invest our time and money into Hawley Youth Athletics, we expect full accountability for how our registration fees, donations, and sponsorship dollars are spent. To ensure our children’s sports program is running with absolute integrity, we’re requesting a community-led financial audit of the league's current management and finances. We seek the league’s books, bank records, cash app, venmo, or anything related, and cash handling practices. Our goal is simple: protect the kids, protect our community's financial contributions, and uncover the facts. We do not need handwritten books, excel sheets, or similar items. We want the past 3 years of your 990 forms, bank statement receipts, utility bills, insurances for the kids, and anything financially tied to the league. If your truly a non-profit organization as stated this is required by law: Internal Revenue Code Section 6104 (d). If we do not have a response within 72 hours we will take this as your refusal to comply.

We’re so excited to see where this journey takes us, but we can’t do it without the support of our amazing community!

We still have several board positions available, and we’d love for you to be a part of building something special for our local kids and families. Whether you have experience or simply have a passion for youth baseball, we’d love to have you apply.

This league is for our community, and we want everyone to feel involved. Your ideas, time, and support can make a huge difference!

🏀⚽ Calling All Bearcat Families! ⚾

We’ve had several families reach out asking about basketball and soccer, and we couldn’t be more excited to see so much interest!

Our original plan was to focus on bringing baseball back first, but we don’t want our kids to miss out on opportunities to participate in other sports. That’s why we’re excited to begin laying the foundation for basketball and soccer programs as well.

We’re happy to announce that Jordan Rodriguez has volunteered to lead the basketball program. Now we’re looking for a community member who is passionate about our youth and would be interested in helping lead the soccer program.

Hawley Youth Association

The Hawley Youth Association is aware of the recent post made by the Hawley Youth Athletics Board. We want to assure our community that we are committed to conducting all Association business properly, transparently, and in accordance with the appropriate procedures.

The Association to which the baseball field property was deeded has been officially reinstated under the new Board of Directors. Our focus remains on responsibly managing the Association and serving the youth and families of our community.

We understand that emotions and differing opinions are involved, and the last thing we want is to create further division within our community. Our hope is to move forward with integrity, respect, and a shared commitment to providing the best opportunities for our children.
