You did it, Pulaski County! 🎉 YOU helped Pulaski County turn green on the map with our $4 for 4-H fundraiser. Now, it is up to YOU to help us reach our county goal of $1,444 and to see who gets pied! It is the local 4-H County Board Presidents vs. The 4-H Ladies! Who will it be or will they all get pied?!?! Tell your friends, family, and everyone to all go donate through Saturday, April 4th for Pulaski 4-H to see who gets pied! We are *light* green, but we want to go all the way to the dark GREEN on the state map. 20 generous donors have already donated, but we need at least 4 more to make this happen!

4-H gives students so many opportunities from camps to day camps to tech training and so much more!

As of 11am, we are currently at lucky number 13 in number of donations to the Pulaski 4-H program! Thank you to everyone who has donated so far!

Recently, our new Family and Consumer Sciences Agent, Destiny Phillips, had the opportunity to teach Pre-K about the importance of washing our hands! 4-H Day at the Capitol 🍀
We got front row seats in the senate gallery watching the legislative session, toured the capitol building, and got our annual state 4-H photo with over 700 4-H’ers from around the state.

After the capitol building, we had a luncheon with two Pulaski Fourh students, Addy Wi******er and Esteban Contreras, and our very own Sonya Jones recognized for their state awards in the past year! 🏅

After a great morning of learning about our state leaders, we are on the way home!

Pulaski County Extension will be hosting an area-wide Using Pesticides Wisely training on Thursday, March 5 at 1:30 pm at the Pulaski County Recreation Department Gym at 153 Lower River Rd, Hawkinsville GA. This training is required for private or commercial pesticide applicators to purchase and apply the restricted use herbicides Engenia, Stryax, and Tavium.
