The concession stand was such a hit last week at the first home tball game! Thank you to all of the customers that stopped by! We hope all of the non ballers had fun on the new equipment! 😀

The next home game is Thursday June 11th - weather dependent!

If anyone feels inclined to donate, here’s our list: BAKED GOODS - Bagged/packaged
Brats - plain or flavored
Gatorade - any size or flavor
Nacho cheese - 2 big cans

If anyone has suggestions of items to add to our food stands please let us know!

Thursday (6/4) at 5:30PM concessions will start! Tball game starts at 6PM! Easy supper! Feed the kids before the game! To go containers will be available. Cash only.

Thank you to our member Woodene for painting the concession stand! We are on a mission to clean up the baseball field area this year and this was a top priority due to inappropriate graffiti on part of the building! Nothing like a fresh coat of paint! Next up, new doors!

The first tball home game is tomorrow at the Hawkins field at 6pm! Hawkins vs Glen Flora! The concession stand menu will be posted soon! Come on out and enjoy a brat or hot dog, catch up with friends, let the kids play, and watch some kids learn how to play ball! ⚾️

All proceeds from tball concessions go right back to the kids! This year so far they purchased a new duffle bag for carrying bats and helmets in, a new baseball bucket to hold balls and other supplies, custom tshirts, and custom water bottles! They are always accepting donations of food supplies if you feel inclined! Chips, hot dog buns, brats, hotdogs, Gatorade, water, chips for nachos, baked goods, candy bars, condiments, popcorn seasoning, popcorn kernels, etc!

It’s a short season with 3 home games, but always a fun time for the kids and community!

We had another successful bingo day yesterday at Tom’s Way to Go! It might have been cold outside but we kept warm yelling bingo!

Thanks to everyone who braved the temps and came out to hang with us! And thanks to Tom for the space and delicious food specials!

We are very excited and grateful to receive more funding from Marshfield Clinic - Ladysmith; this time to work on improving our baseball field/dugouts/bleachers at the park! If anyone is interested in/knows anyone that would like to help with this project, please reach out!

Marshfield Medical Center-Ladysmith has awarded $100,000 to 13 community organizations to address health inequities in areas such as substance use and behavioral health.

There’s no Hawkins Lions Club meeting tonight. Our next scheduled meeting is on February 10th at 5:30 PM at the Hawkins Community Center.
