***Update***

Bud,or as some may know him by , Jerold, has been released from the hospital and has gone home with family. Our brother's doing great, but he's still got some recovery and rehab to do. Want to give a big shout out to everyone who has been there or donated for Bud and his kids in this time of need, Thank you very much everyone. Don't forget if you still want to help out our charity ride for Bud is on July 26th 10 am registration at the clubhouse downtown in Hawarden. He may even be making an appearance there, depending on how he's recovering and feeling at that point in time. Again thank you very much everyone, and we hope to see you guys at the run. He's going to need all the help he can get. Thanks everyone!

****UPDATE****

Buds still in the hospital still fighting but he is at the level they have been expecting him to be at in recovery. He's had his breathing and feeding tube removed and is capable of 1-2 word speech as of right now. He's got a long road ahead of him, but he's got all of his brothers and his family here for him, along with the amazing communities that are here supporting him and his kids. Big thank you to everyone who's supporting him in his recovery. He's still got a long road but these are good steps forward. Big shout out to The Eternal Few LE/FF MC, and their support in this struggle as well as some other groups of amazing men and women. Thank you all from Rigid Steel L.E.MC, we are highly grateful and hope for continued support for Bud and his kids throughout his recovery, we will keep updating as much as possible, as this is just the beginning.

We ask our family and friends of the club to keep one of our members in your thoughts and prayers. Bud was involved in a motorcycle accident on Saturday June 28th of 2025. Jerold Weyer AKA Bud was riding home from a charity poker run, when he was involved in a horrific motorcycle accident. He was transported to the Hawarden Hospital by ambulance, stabilized, and then life flighted to Avera Hospital in Sioux Falls,SD, where he underwent a life saving surgery. We ask that you keep his family and children in your thoughts and prayers as he remains in Avera Intensive Care Unit.

We would like to thank the Alcester Fire Department, Hawarden Fire Department, Union County Sheriff's Department, Sioux County Conservation Officers, Hawarden Hospital Staff, and the amazing people with Avera Air and Hospital for helping with this situation!!!
