September is National Hunger Action Month! 💙

The Hawarden Community Food Pantry has an important need: a refrigerated truck and driver willing to travel to Sioux City on the first Wednesday of each month to pick up 7–8 pallets of food and bring them back to Hawarden. This could help us save THOUSANDS of dollars a year, freight is EXPENSIVE!
Do you know someone who could help? Please contact Carolyn Salberg, Greg Lynott, or Glenda VanWyhe. Message here for their contact information.

Please share to help us find someone who can meet this need! 🙏

Many of you have probably seen this post by now...we are excited to have a resource that is accessible 24/7 to support those in need in our community. A word of caution, as we start this please note we know we will have a small critter problem (because of the field next door), so please be aware that the doors are closed completely after you leave something or take something. Thank you to the Long's for this exciting addition to our community!
