The Market A non-profit farmer's market, The Market opens the first Thursday in June and runs each Thursday into October, weather permitting.

Opening the first Thursday after the 4th of July, & every Thursday until mid-October, local farmers bring their produce & local vendors bring their wares to sell to the public from 5pm - 7pm at Veteran’s Park in Hawarden. Manager - Karen Longhorn (712)551-2018

The first month of The Market's 2026 season is "in the books". We have been able to bring over 20 different vendors from 8 local farmer's markets so far. 🙂

We had vendors from Inwood, Orange City, Hull and Sioux Center join us in the park last week. With Big Sioux River Days just around the corner, some of our vendors have already signed up to be in the park again over the Labor Day weekend. :D

This week, we'll have honey from LeMars, sweet corn from Inwood, fresh produce from Wakeman's Produce in Akron, baked goods, homemade jams, handmade jewelry, and more for you to take home from your market 🙂

We hope you'll stop by again and see us this Thursday from 4:30pm-6:30pm in Central Park on the corner of 14th Street and Central Ave ... just look for the canopies. 🙂
