Since this gear was designed to honor the extra sacrifices made by our military familes, what better time to give it all away to our active duty members and their familes at the Sensory Event held at the Military Family Support Center at Joint Base Pearl Harbor and hosted by the Exceptional Family Members Program supprtinf family members facing additional challenges, such as autism and other neurodivergent phenomena.

There is a reason that I feel so honored and privileged to serve our active duty members… it’s because about 15-20% of my rehabilitative counseling clients were men and women who served our country before we ever met. That’s why several years ago I decided to work with the recruiters in Parker, Co and designed these t-shirts to honor the sacrifices made by them and their familes. I hope you like them. Plenty still available if you would like to support the STAHRS’ mission to Lower the Trajectory of interpersonal violence in our schools. The challenge coin idea came from my privilege to work with our active duty members here at Joint Base Pearl Harbor / Hickam AFB.
