Come help with trail maintenance work TONIGHT at Brough Coulee!

Havre Trails is having a trail work party this Thursday, May 21st, at Brough Coulee Trail. Volunteers would be greatly appreciated to complete some trail maintenance. All volunteers are encouraged to meet at the Brough Coulee trailhead at 6:30pm (junction of Brough Canyon Rd and Hwy 234).

Main Work Tasks:
W**d wacking at the coulee junction
Removing several large limbs/trees that are obstructing the trail

What to Bring/Wear:
Work gloves/protective eyewear
Long pants/sleeves
Close-toed shoes
Hat/sunscreen
Bug spray
Water/snacks
W**d wacker if you have one
Pruners if you have them

Great weekend for a hike on Bullhook Butte! We will always be grateful to Rick Lieberg and Patty Lieberg for sharing this beautiful place with us. Huge shout out to Ron Lorang for using his welding talent, time, and energy to make and install the new benches. The benches are at perfect locations to take in the view (and catch your breath😮‍💨). If you make it out this weekend, post your photos in the comments below. We love to see you enjoying the trails. Happy hiking!🥾🌞😎

Thank you to Mandy Hansen for highlighting the Story Walk that is available to the community at Devlin Trail through September 13th. Thank you to Ashley Verity and the Havre-Hill County Library for providing such a beautiful book, and to the City of Havre Parks and Rec for keeping our parks nice for us to enjoy!

The Havre-Hill County Library and Havre Trails have teamed up to bring a Story Walk event to the Havre community. Beginning September 6th through September 1...
