Volunteer opportunity!

Havre Trails is having a trail work party this Thursday, June 18th, at Mt. Otis Trail. Volunteers would be greatly appreciated to complete some trail maintenance. All volunteers are encouraged to meet at the Mt. Otis trailhead in Mooney Coulee at 6:30pm.

Main Work Tasks:
W**d wacking at the picnic area
Repairing the bench halfway up the mountain
General trail clean up

What to Bring/Wear:
Work gloves/protective eyewear
Long pants/sleeves
Close-toed shoes
Hat/sunscreen
Bug spray
Water/snacks
W**d wackers
Pruners

The Mt. Centennial hike had beautiful conditions last night! We couldn't have asked for better weather, colors, and a great group of hikers. Thank you to to the Chippewa Cree Tribe for letting us hike on this beautiful trail again this year, we had a wonderful time. Thank you to everyone that joined as well 😊

If you weren't able to join us this time, we will be hosting another group hike on August 8th at Windy Ridge in The Highwoods. We will have more details for that soon. In the meantime, follow us here on Facebook for updates, or visit www.havretrails.org for events and trail information.

Here's a fun and unique opportunity to bike and explore an organic farm north of Havre while learning about pollinators and their habitat. There will also be delicious farm to table food. The event is June 13-14, and spots are filling up. Contact Anna at Vilicus Farms if you are interested in registering!

Come help with trail maintenance work TONIGHT at Brough Coulee!

Havre Trails is having a trail work party this Thursday, May 21st, at Brough Coulee Trail. Volunteers would be greatly appreciated to complete some trail maintenance. All volunteers are encouraged to meet at the Brough Coulee trailhead at 6:30pm (junction of Brough Canyon Rd and Hwy 234).

Main Work Tasks:
W**d wacking at the coulee junction
Removing several large limbs/trees that are obstructing the trail

What to Bring/Wear:
Work gloves/protective eyewear
Long pants/sleeves
Close-toed shoes
Hat/sunscreen
Bug spray
Water/snacks
W**d wacker if you have one
Pruners if you have them
