We’re excited to see everyone today 😁

Pow-wow NetWork is already in the house getting set up!

And we’re excited to let you know we have 3 registered food vendors this year - Chachi's Tacos, Double E, and Moore Caffiene Co!

❌ Please note: Only these food vendors are allowed to sell during our event. They have all completed the required paperwork and paid the fee.

All vendor registrations are closed! We appreciate all of those that registered ahead of time.

We hope you have a great time here on our campus!

2 more days...

We were able to get into the gym yesterday and decided that there is enough room - lower-level bleachers WILL be out on the north side! You can still bring your own chair if you would like. Just be aware that floor seating might be tight. 🛑 Also, all chairs that are already out are reserved for head staff, drums and elders only.

All vendors will be on the floor as well this year, on the south side. VENDORS: if you have already registered but have not paid your fee yet, you MUST pay in cash at the powwow. Vendor registration is now closed.

A few tidbits and reminders:
‼️ MSUN is a tobacco-free campus, and this is a drug and alcohol-free event.
‼️ Security will be on-site.
‼️ Sweetgrass Society is not responsible for injuries, theft, or short-funded travelers.
‼️ Please do not sit in the Elder Seating area as it is reserved for them.

Our members will be doing a 50/50 as well as a raffle for a beautiful portrait! Don't forget to get your tickets.

We're a week out today!

Our agenda will be out Monday; subject to change.

But for now, here's a little something that we'll be raffling off. This beautiful portrait was taken by Jason Geer of Jason Geer Photograpy. He had it framed and donated it to Sweetgrass Society along with another very beautiful portrait that we'll share later.

This portrait was dubbed "Roaming Winters" by two of our members, Mya Spencer and Tyra Parker. Thank you ladies!

We will be selling tickets two ways at the powwow:
1. Buy a program and receive a free ticket.
2. Tickets will be sold throughout the powwow by members for $1/ticket or an arms-length for $5

This beauty is valued at $1500. It is 42" x 18" and ready to be hung!

We're 15 days out!

We've been working hard on a new layout to accommodate our vendors this year, and this is a bit of what you can expect.

‼️ Vendors will be on the main floor in front of the south bleachers (the fold down chairs); so NO seating will be available on that side of the gym.

The upper-level bleachers on the north side will all be open this year! We will do a walk-through and measure next week to decide if we will open the lower-level bleachers on the north side. As of right now, we are expecting it to be tight, but we will update once we know more.

If you would like to sit on the main floor, bring your powwow chairs!

On the map, there are areas marked for check-in at the door for drums and vendors, elder seating, the announcer stand, dancer registration and where vendors will be set up.

Did we mention that dancer registration is free this year? If not, it is! We want to see everyone dancing their style!
