Last week our club got together for our annual Easter party. We started off with some team trivia and games then headed over to find eggs at the park. We then had a soup luncheon and time together. It was a great day and fun was had!

Thank you to our Havre community! Our club received so much support with our traveling bake sale and we are full of gratitude! 💚

We were moving and grooving so much that not many photos were taken but these two are proof that we can find educational opportunities anywhere we go as long as we use our head, heart, hands and health! 🍀

The Northern Lights 4-H Club will be having our annual fundraiser with a Traveling Bake Sale around Havre. We will be visiting businesses with a tray of homemade treats and baked goods made by our members. If you would like us to stop by your establishment please comment below and we will do our best to pay you a visit.

*All treats will be a free will donation.

Today was a good day to have a good day! We put together some amazing cookie boxes to share with our community helpers to show our appreciation. We went to the fire station, police department, emergency department, sheriff office, detention center and have a box for the Border Patrol (to be delivered Monday). These people do so much for our community so it was nice to be able to give back to them.

We then headed to Walmart to shop for a few children who have less than us. The kids have a great time shopping for others, budgeting and using team work.

It was a great day and we just wanted to spread a little love this Christmas season!

Typically our club has gone on an educational field trip in the fall. This year the kids voted to again tour Havre Beneath the Streets to learn about our community’s history. The kids had fun and everyone learned something new! We recommend this for any other groups looking for something fun to do. To end the day we all met up to have ice cream at Gram’s!

In honor of National 4-H Week we wanted to give a special shoutout to our Senior for Senior Sunday. Kami has been serving as our club’s president as well as other roles throughout the years. She has taken numerous projects over the years such as cake decorating, party planning, woodworking, leathercraft, cooking, market beef, breeding beef, horse and market swine. She is a true role model and is always willing to give a helping hand and leads by example. Good luck in your last year of 4-H Kami!
