Scouts BSA Troop 1438

Scouts BSA Troop 1438 Scouts BSA Troop 1438 is located in Havre, Montana. Meetings are held Tuesday nights at 7:00 pm at the First Lutheran Church.

Parent Meetings are held monthly at First Lutheran Church.
1438 has been continuously chartered since 10/01/1947. Boy Scout Troop 1438 (Havre, Montana) was previously known as Boy Scout Troop 438 (Troop 38 prior to that). This troop-chartered October 1, 1947, and is one of the longest continuous running troops in the State of Montana.

If scouts go to church on any Sunday this month, please get a picture with the Minister, Priest, pastor, etc., preferably in uniform, and they will get a Scout Sunday patch once the picture is shared with Bill Lanier!

Scouting America Anniversary Month is here again, and the Hi-Line District of Montana Council, Scouting America has generously supplied us with many beautifully preserved awards, patches, medals, and pins that have been awarded to Scouts and scouting volunteers past and present. The narratives of many of these awards and projects have been included. As in years past, we will be featuring a detailed list of all known regional Eagle Scouts, researched by Bill Lanier.

Scouting has deep roots in Hill County, and we are honored to tell Scouts' stories of perseverance, bravery, and skill. This display will be at the Clack Museum through the end of February, so make sure to visit before it returns to the district's archives!
