If you are able to help this is a great project for our community. Please sign up so they have a head count for food and other things!

Fresh produce. Live music. Family gatherings. Community celebrations.

When you visit Town Square, you see the Farmers Market, Sounds on the Square, and countless moments that bring our community together.

What you don’t always see are the volunteers who help make these spaces beautiful, welcoming, and ready for the memories that happen there.

On June 18th, you have the opportunity to be part of that story.

Join United Way and the Havre Chamber for our Day of Action as we roll up our sleeves and give Town Square a little extra love before the summer season is in full swing.

🌿 Morning and afternoon shifts available
🍴 Lunch provided
👥 Come solo or bring a team

A few hours of your time can have an impact that lasts all summer long.

Why do some people claim to be former Masons, yet turn around and speak so strongly against the Craft? I’ve seen videos of individuals insisting they were once Masons, spreading conspiracy theories, and saying they left the fraternity to “expose” it. But honestly, I can’t help but wonder why they speak so negatively about something built on Light, Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth.

Everything I’ve learned in Freemasonry has helped shape me into a better version of myself. The degrees, the working tools, the lectures, each one is designed to guide us toward stronger character, clearer purpose, and a life rooted in virtue. The Craft doesn’t just tell us to improve, it gives us the tools, the symbols, and the fraternity to make it possible.

That’s why it’s hard for me to imagine someone walking away from something so enriching, so uplifting, and so centered on self-improvement. Freemasonry has given me the tools to walk uprightly in my several stations, to act with integrity, and to live humbly as I continue shaping my own rough ashlar.

But at the end of the day, those tools sit silent unless we choose to pick them up. The Light is offered... never forced.

So when I hear former members criticizing the Craft, I can’t help but think… perhaps the real question isn’t what the fraternity failed to offer, but whether they ever truly applied the lessons, worked with the tools, or sought the Light that was placed before them.

Too good not to share! Good work Waco Lodge 92.

"If the Sun appears a glorious object even to the eyes of the ignorant and uneducated; if the regularity of his daily course through the heavens, with the changes corresponding to different seasons of the year, but renewed year by year again, commanded the admiration of the ancient Chaldean sages; how much more sublime is the spectacle presented to the mind by the discoveries of modern astronomy!

When we consider the immense distance at which the sun is placed from us-about 95,000,000 of miles and yet the intimate relations which subsist between us and him, how our eyes are gladdened by the light which he pours forth, and our bodies warmed by his heat, which also makes the earth fruitful and clothes it with beauty; when we consider the prodigious magnitude of this orb, and that our earth is but one of a number of planets, orbs comparatively very small, revolving continually around him, and held in their orbits by his attraction; ought we not to be filled with admiration and reverence even greater than those to whom such knowledge was denied?

There is a sentiment of pride or vanity, which is sometimes called forth by the possession of a little knowledge. But surely it ought not to be so.

The more that we know, the more we are called to the contemplation of an awful greatness, and the more also ought we to be impressed with a sense of the vastness of the field yet unexplored, in contemplation of which the man of greatest scientific attainments, feels himself to be but as a little child just beginning to learn."
