Often, people reach out to us asking for referrals for LGBTQIA+ businesses, mental health providers, realtors, and medical providers. We get it. For some, its a matter of spending your money with people whose values match yours. For others, it is about not wanting to explain your identity to a healthcare provide who may not be affirming.

This month, we are launching a new UCBPride Community Partners Directory. If you are a member of the LGBTQIA+ community or an ally, we invite you to add your business, service, or group to our directory. We are particularly interested in featuring affirming healthcare providers and mental health professionals.

Please feel free to share with anyone who may be interested in adding to this resource.

One note: We are currently in a "build" phase and will go live soon. For now, we'd like to work on filling the database and optimizing the interface. Stay tuned!

Pride is about more than celebration; it's about community, connection, and creating spaces where everyone feels seen, supported, and valued.

This month, we invite you to join us as we celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community through events, volunteer opportunities, and meaningful connections. Whether you're looking to make new friends, give back, support local programs, or simply be part of something bigger, there's a place for you here.

Our organization is powered by people who believe in building a more inclusive and welcoming community for everyone. Every event attended, every volunteer hour given, and every new face welcomed helps make that vision a reality.

✨ Attend an event
✨ Volunteer your time
✨ Meet new people
✨ Support your community

Together, we can continue creating spaces where everyone belongs.

Happy Pride Month—we can't wait to celebrate with you! 🌈💖

UCBPride started in 2019 as a festival planning committee. That first June, our founding members didn't know if they should expect 40 people or 100 people. HUNDREDS of people showed up at our first festival to celebrate and support LGBTQIA+ friends, family, and neighbors.

In the past seven years, we've shared a bigger dream of year-round community. Yes, we still have a festival (now in October). But we also host several socials each month. We sponsor college scholarships. We are now home to Free to Be--a teen social group that meets monthly.

Many of you have been with us from the start, and we thank you! And we also love seeing new faces every month. But we aren't done dreaming yet; we still have bigger and better plans.

As always, we're fundraising in June. This year, we're expanding beyond our scholarship fund to bolster some of our other community-based programs. If you have some money in your budget for donations, we've be grateful. We know times are tight, so we promise to put every dollar to good use, right here in your community.

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!

Happy Pride Month!

What could be better than to kick it off with a picnic?! We had a fantastic time at Susquehanna State Park grilling dogs, doing crafts and making memories with friends.

Get out there and celebrate all month long! 🏳️‍🌈
