It takes volunteers seven days a week to open for two hours on Fridays from 10am to Noon. We have food pickups seven days a week. We have volunteers that cook and package lunches to go, we have volunteers that sort through donated food to check for expiration dates and dents. We have volunteers help unload cases of food and properly check in the food. We have volunteers on Thursdays that setup. It takes approximately twenty (20) volunteers to make Fridays run smoothly to allow our guests to get in and out within two hours. After the door closes on Fridays our work is not done. We have kitchen and parish hall cleanup. We have volunteers that handle all the paperwork that goes along with accepting food from Government and Private Entities.
