A super special SHOUT-OUT to HCPL Havre de Grace Library for creating one of the most exciting stops on the Ice Festival route! We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Blue Heron Gifts & Boutique and Marie + Rae Boutique have been crowned the 2026 Ice Sculpture Champion! 🏆❄️

This year was our most competitive yet, with over 50 breathtaking ice sculptures lining the streets. To say the judges had their work cut out for them is an understatement—the level of creative brainstorming & designing this year was truly next-level.

🧊 The Top 10 Judges' Choices: We also want to give a massive shout-out to our Top 10 finalists who wowed the crowds and the committee alike!

A Heartfelt Thank You 💙 To every single business and organization that participated: THANK YOU. You created a magical, memorable experience for every person who walked through our event. When the world goes into hibernation and endless days of Netflix binging, what better way to bring people outside for a weekend of fun and excitement! Havre de Grace is a local and regional treasure for residents and tourists alike, and now it is time to show off her charm in all her winter splendor. The Havre de Grace Ice Festival, which takes place over Martin Luther King weekend, transforms our city into a winter wonderland with ice sculptures around town and music drifting through the air. There are live ice carvings, bands, artisans, a chili cook-off, kid stations, contests, in-store specials, food trucks, street performers, live radio broadcasts, costumed characters, fire pits, s’mores and more. You can even try your hand at ice sculpting by carving your name into our graffiti wall or join the kids’ parade and be crowned Ice Prince and Ice Princess! Grab your hat, mittens & scarf and join us in downtown Havre de Grace to make memories you won’t soon forget.
