Lapidary Workshop
Date: July 20th - 22nd
Ages: 8th grade through adult
Capacity: 6 participants.
Cost: $60/participant (includes basic materials and machine fees).
Time: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm each day

Description: Participants will gain understanding of God’s creation in the area of geology and apply it in the lapidary arts. They will learn the basic aspects of rocks and minerals important to working with them and then experience the lapidary process at the beginners level, making one or more simple jewelry items. This process includes choosing materials, using lapidary equipment to shape and polish rocks and minerals, hole-boring, and assembling the finished product.
