The weather might have not been perfect , but the day certainly was ! Thank you to all who helped , joined , donated and especially those who rode. One special thank you goes to Richard Redican , Donna Brule Jachowicz and their crew of Middlesex County Sheriff’s Department cooks for the amazing spread! The second special thank you goes to CJ Cunningham and his band Radiostatic for donating their time AND their fee!!! Lastly, the biggest thank you to. Joe White and The ALR Chapter 4 for putting this ride together for an amazing cause

At Great Lakes National Cemetery near Detroit, some funerals are completely empty. No family. No friends. Just a funeral director, a priest, and a few teenage boys wearing white gloves.

These teenagers are part of the St. Joseph of Arimathea Pallbearer Ministry. Started in 2015 by students at University of Detroit Jesuit High School, the program ensures that no one is buried alone.

At their very first service, the boys carried the caskets of three homeless veterans whose bodies had gone unclaimed at the county morgue.

Named after the biblical figure who cared for Jesus's body, the ministry has inspired dozens of students from the all-boys school to step up as "men for others."

Dressed in matching suits, they carry the caskets and pray at the gravesite.

"We represent the family that is not here and that is a privilege" said student co-founder Lenny Froehlich.

The experience sticks with the students long after graduation, completely changing how they see people who go unnoticed by the world.

It proves a simple but powerful truth: the ultimate service is simply showing up to be present for someone.

Our Chaplain passed away yesterday, August 3, 2026. We are heart broken to loose such a beautiful soul. We are sending love to all of her family and friends.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday August 13th from 10:30AM until 12:30PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1PM at All Saints Church. Burial to follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 14th beginning at 4PM at the Wilbur Comeau Post 4, American Legion Post in Haverhill.

HAVERHILL – Dianne Young, 71 of Haverhill passed away on August 3, 2026 at Merrimack Health Methuen Hospital.

Dianne was born in Haverhill on December 8, 1954 to Arthur and Rose (Comeau) Young and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, after which she studied at Northern Essex Community College. She then went on to work at many places throughout her career including JM Fields, Friendlies, Timmy Meehan’s, Home Depot, AT&T, Opportunity Works and most recently All Saints Church. She was the chaplain and historian for the Ladies Auxiliary, and also the historian and secretary for the American Legion Riders Post 4, and was involved in the Catholic Prison Ministry, Charismatic Healing Ministry, St. Basil’s Cursillo Community, and also volunteered for the Steubenville Life Team.

Dianne is survived by her son Christopher Currier and his wife Candice of Grant Pass, OR, and her daughter Rose Currier of Epsom, NH, her cherished grandchildren Cheyenne, Christopher and Savannah Currier, and Meghan and Jacob Jegorow, and step-granddaughter Sarah Auld of Battleground, Washington. She was predeceased by her brothers Wayne Young and Joseph Young.
