Our Haverhill, MA Lions Club is proud to announce our Veterans Appreciation Cookout will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, beginning at 11:30 AM at the Veterans Northeast Outreach Center (VNEOC), 10 Reed Street, Haverhill, MA.

Join us as we come together to honor and celebrate the brave men and women who have served our country. This special event is our way of saying “thank you” to our local Veterans for their dedication, sacrifice, and service.

Veterans and their families are invited to enjoy an afternoon filled with delicious food, laughter, fellowship, and community spirit. Whether reconnecting with fellow Veterans, meeting new friends, or simply enjoying a relaxing day with family, we look forward to making this a memorable celebration for all.

We are deeply honored to give back to those who have given so much for our nation and our community.

Over 30 years ago, the service clubs of Haverhill got together and built the Welcome to Haverhill signs at key locations throughout the city.
Recently all the service clubs gathered together for a special luncheon-

Peter Carbone presented about the need to maintain the Welcome to Haverhill signs. It's a great project for the service club presidents to collaborate on.

Haverhill, MA Lions Club members consistently volunteer for AgeSpan's Elder Brown Bag Program on the first Tuesday of each month and fill brown bags with a monthly supplemental food resource for elders and adults with disabilities in the Merrimack Valley.
To thank its volunteers, AgeSpan, "a private, nonprofit agency dedicated to helping people in northeast Massachusetts maintain their highest levels of independence, health, and safety as they age," holds an annual Volunteer Appreciation Event.
Our King Lion, Bob Adler, attended with our group and snapped a couple of photos to commemorate the moment -- including a photo of two of our Haverhill Lions who won the centerpieces at the event.

At the Patriots Day Road Race - Lexington MA to benefit the Lions Journey for Sight initiative, Lion Matt Stevens, represented the Haverhill, MA Lions Club and ran this race for the second year in a row. Here's a video taken by our King Lion Bob Adler showing Matt crossing the finish line. We are so proud of Matt and that he beat his running time from last year!
